Message Decoder for Aviation Routine Weather Report

METAR and SPECI (weather observation) and TAF (weather forecast) information is essential for flight planning and in-flight decisions (real flight and simulation).
It is regularily compiled by meteorologists at about 3,500 airports worldwide and distributed via reliable, non-public networks.

You can retrive the Messages by typing:
1) the exacts 4 chars ICAO station code (i.e. for 'Pratica di Mare, Italy' LIRE),
2) to get all the ICAO Station for a country you can specify the 2 chars ICAO National code (i.e. for 'Italy' LI)
3) write the raw message specifing in the first letter the message type (i.e. 'METAR LIRE 251155Z ...')
4) you can search for a Place Name (i.e. 'Phuket Airport')

The output can be:
A) HTML format: The report will be decoded to human-readable form.
B) KMZ format: The most important message values are stored in a summary image and displayed at the exacts icao station coordinates using Google Earth.

ICAO code source is provided by an internal DB with 5993 World Station loaded.
